By helping business owners work through their ideas and map out a plan for success, the Ontario Self Employment Program (OSEP)/Self Employment Assistance (SEA) program has helped hundreds of businesses navigate through the first year of business start up.

If you are unemployed, meet certain criteria and would like to start your own business, the OSEP/SEA program offers financial and business support for up to 42 weeks of business start up.

Participants who are accepted into the program develop and implement their business plan to start and operate their businesses.  During the program, they receive financial assistance, business advice and support through seminars, workshops, coaching and mentoring sessions to help them be successful.

Participants also meet other business owners and benefit from mutual support and networking.

Serving residents in the areas surrounding Barrie-South Simcoe, Georgian Triangle, Orillia, Muskoka.
